International workshops and conferences

We offer a series of workshops and conferences, under various themes in UK, Germany and Italy.
The programme is never static - our experts are always trying out new ideas and the offer evolves regularly. Some workshops are specifically targeted for senior alumni (over 5 years of experience), others are for alumni with less experience (3 to 5 years) and some are specifically designed for recent graduates. The conferences can be visited by each and everyone.
These themed workshops and conferences have three main goals:
  • to give you methodologic and practical tools to work on a particular kind of issue
  • to allow you to meet and exchange ideas with other alumni

  • to meet an expert on the subject
We also organize various workshops and conferences in France.

"Making Good Decisions for your Career" - workshop by Tamar Meshoulam, Leaders and Legens - Tuesday 16th of July 2013 at 7 pm - ESCP Europe London Campus - Room G61
Jack Welch was the Chairman and CEO of General Electric between 1981 and 2001. During his tenure at GE, the company's value rose 4000%....
In one of his  interviews he was asked “what made you such a successful business man?” he replied “Two words: good decisions”.
The interviewer insisted to understand so he asked “ How did you master the skill of making good decision?” Mr. Welch replied: “Two words: bad decisions”.
In our world of endless opportunities in which sometimes none is quite obvious, making good decisions is vital to your success.

This workshop will give you input to answer these questions:
How do I make recruiters chase after me?
What good reasons does my boss have to promote me?

"How to sell yourself without selling" -  Tuesday, 11th of June 2013 (19:00-21:00) - Room G62, ESCP Europe London Campus *, (followed by networking drinks) by Dexter Moscow and Alex Moscow

 The workshop:
 - Do you have a presentation coming up at a networking group, business expo or conference?
- Are you worried you don’t have the content to inspire and move your audience to action?
- Are you nervous that your presentation will fall flat?
- Would you like to present more but are put off by the prospect of public speaking?

In this challenging economic environment, speaking at conferences and seminars offers an unrivalled opportunity to stand out from the crowd and attract more clients to your business.

Where else do you get the chance to talk to a room full of prospects?

However, although packed full of potential, these opportunities don’t always deliver. We’ve found that many people are disappointed by the results of their talks, returning to their office with little to show for the time, money and effort they’ve put into preparing for the event.

Many more shun these opportunities altogether, even when they know they are vital. If that sounds familiar then this talk could help. Dexter and Alex Moscow have developed a proven presentation creation process that’s helped generate scores of new business opportunities, gain buy-in for new ideas and sold £millions worth of products.

And if you think that to deliver a persuasive presentation you need to be a professional speaker, think again.

This seminar will help you identify exactly what your audience wants and then deliver it in a way that not only feels natural and comfortable but ends with a line of people queuing up for more.

During this 45 minute seminar you will discover:
1. The misconceptions and mistakes that rob many presentations of their impact
2. The 3 strategic pillars behind every winning presentation
3. How to leverage these pillars to get the influence, business and success you want.

About Dexter Moscow:
Over the last 40 years Dexter has gained substantial expertise working and coaching at the highest level in Finance, Property, Advertising, Sales, and the Entertainment industries. His association with Reed International, the Dale Carnegie organisation and his live appearances, informs his unique approach to corporate communication, selling and influencing.

About Alex Moscow:
Alex’s experience in PR and content marketing has proven time and again that when you give great information, you attract great clients. He has generated serious amounts of media coverage for the owners, managing directors and senior executives of some of the biggest and fastest growing brands in tech, creative and retail, including BT, Samsung, Toshiba and Apple.

Fees:
- 5 € (approx. £4.50) for student ESCP Europe Alumni members
- 15 € (approx. £13) for ESCP Europe Alumni members, members of associated schools and non ESCP Europe Alumni member students

"Communication" -  Workshop by Florian Hornig, Careers Consultant of ESCP Europe Alumni in Berlin Campus
